p.3 #2 · Should Canon make an RF 60mm or 70mm fast lens?
A 60-70mm would pair well with a 35mm.
Maybe Canon could let Sigma pay for a license to sell an RF mount version of the excellent 65i f/2

p.3 #3 · Should Canon make an RF 60mm or 70mm fast lens?
Although a 65mm would pair nicely with a 35mm, I am surprised that Canon doesn't have anything to fill the gap between the very budget 50 f/1.8 and the 50 f/1.4L VCM at 50mm. I suppose the 45 f/1.2 sorta fills that gap, but I would love to see a 50mm lens like the 24 f/1.8 IS, 35 f/1.8 IS, and 85 f/2 IS for RF mount. The 45 f/1.2 feels like something different to me as it really is outside the gap between the very budget 50 f/1.8 and the premium L VCM with a different sort of tradeoff--fast aperture for almost no corrections. I think a 50mm that fills this gap (like the 50 f/1.4 did for DSLRs) is more important than a 60 to 70mm.
With high quality 50 f/1.8 and f/2 lenses for other systems like the Viltrox 50 f/2 air, the Sigma 50 f/2 Contemporary and even the Nikon 50 f/1.8S and the Sony/Zeiss 55 f/1.8 I think a similar lens for Canon RF is needed.
