p.1 #1 · iPad OS 26.0.1 Difficulties logging in into fredmiranda.com
Since updating to ipad OS 26.0.1 (present, recomended os) I‘m encountering issues logging into fredmiranda using the stored password. It is not an issue of the password as I have no issue logging in from my mac (also latest OS) using the same key.
I do not have any issues logging in when manually inserting the password. I also do not encounter any issues logging into other sites from my ipad so I believe, it is some interaction between the newest ipad OS (and the way passwords are stored now) and the way logging in is set up on fredmiranda. I cannot exclude that there is a change (or bug) in Apple’s latest OS that seems to wreak havoc when logging in on fredmiranda. This did not happen with the last iPad OS or any older version of iPad OS.
The work around is to have my passport reset whenever I log in on fredmiranda whenever I’m on the go (and on iPad in contrast to iMac), which is a bit cumbersome. I have tried to contact Fred, but he did not respond and might be on holidays.
Has anyone encountered this problem as well?
