That also brother!
I had challenges in converting this b&w...blacks were not as vibrant as I would have like and the whites were not as pronounced as I would have like..Try it if you feel like it.

You brought out more separation in the image Brent. I wanted to keep the intricate detail of the fern's "hairs" intact...

You did that in yours....blacks were my issue. I sort of "ignored" the background..Your bg is far better.
