I have one and was not impressed with speed or power/heat compared to the Delkins Blacks. That was a couple years ago, so maybe the NAND flash and controller are different now.
For what it's worth.....I have 3 of the Sandisk cards and they get pretty darn warm both in the camera and while seated in the card reader attached to my computer. Even while it's just sitting there without being accessed.
I have since tried the ProGrade version of the same card (very similar read/write numbers) and, while it does get warm, it is NOTHING like the Sandisk card.
There was a pretty good deal on the 1.3TB Delkins Black a few days ago at $400. Four of them would get you through most weeks without juggling a whole bunch of small cards.
