A pair of Yellowlegs were feeding in one of the the ponds at the Marine Nature Study in Oceanside, NY when one blasted off and the other followed. This is the first one.

I think the first one is the better shot Morris. I like the under-wing patters.

#1 is my favorite. I would like more space in the direction of flight and less on the right Morris

I like both Morris. Pose in # 1 and crop in 2. Both good shots IMHO.

Possibly I need to make the drops in the air behind the bird more proment
