I drove up for a quick car camping overnighter with my dog (camped in 2" of snow -- she loves the snow and it takes years off of her) and a hike. Didn't really expect to be shooting, but when I got up to this bench, I had to take a shot.

Glad you got out, I'm anxiously awaiting more snow in the Cascades that should be here this weekend.

I like the curve of trees in the foreground mirroring the mountains curve.

It was one of those, "Do I really have to have to keep going that far over" times, but when the bench I was on dipped down into the gorge.......

My "girls" loved the snow! My boy Rocky hated it!!!!
Just a great composition Monika! The rocks look like the result a glacial retreat.

Yes, definitely glacially carved. The lakes & snow promote great canine romping (humans just fish).

My "kids" would literally lunge out of the van to encounter the strange "wild" smells of a "new" foreign place!
Just FYI..small world sometimes..

This would make a fine VERY LARGE hallway print.
