Here are some...interesting...examples of the new grain feature. Whatever setting she is using in the opening is crazy heavy-handed, but she goes through the options later in depth which is nice.

The settings between size and intensity are more granular (pun very intended) than Fuji.

I played around with it a bit in NX Studio and I think it's better overall than Fuji's version—looks more like the grain in actual film to my eye. Will be excited to play with it more when it's available on the actual camera.

The fact that it's randomizing the grain pattern every time is nice, vs just an overlay (assuming NX does that too).

That said, I saw what looked like banding in some of those shots, wasn't sure if from the image underneath, or from the grain pattern itself.
