After enjoying the summer photographing insects I decided to get a longer lens for my Z9's. The Nikon 105 is great but the minimum focus distance can be an issue.
So I took a gamble and bought a mint condition "NEW" (for me) macro ~ a vintage 2012 Sigma APO Macro 180mm DG OS HSM lens.
Autofocus works fine.
In lens stabilization seems to work fine.
Optics - well I cannot gripe. The bugs are gone but a found a small piece of thistle stuck in a web. This is at the about the minimum focus distance of 18 inches.
This was handheld - yes a little on the hefty side

Looks to be a "keeper" Bob! Especially at those high settings!
The very high winds here the last few days have all my tall flowers, Cosmos, broken!
Do you have any wetlands near you? The cattails are bursting here now and the cobwebs in the fields keep that morning dew on the "threads of the web" for great shots in macro.
Again great composition and I am sure we will be seeing more!
