Are there any owners of the Sony FX6 who can comment on their experience regarding the AF system performance comparing to the A1 II and the LCD outdoors?
Thanks. Unfortunately it is a typical YT useless promo with an incessant verbal diarrhea. That’s why I came here in hope of getting info. from a user having the real life experience.
Reminds me how useful a video board would be here, but currently the vast majority of folks here seem to be stills-focused.
I've not had direct experience with an FX6, but did just help out on a feature-length movie shot on an FX3 (I shot stills with an A1 and A1ii). The DP used a focus puller (with Zeiss Prime lenses on a PL mount) but I'm not sure if that's any verdict on the AF capability of the FX3 but more of the fact that he chose Zeiss lenses and he's used to shooting on Arri and Venice cameras with a team of ACs and grips
