p.1 #1 · Strobe on the X2D Mark II

I have the Hasselblad X2D Mark ii, the Godox AD200 PRO II and the Godox strobe and the Godox X2TN flash trigger.

I can’t get these three to work together. I have the AD 200 Pro II on a light stand, the X2TN trigger on the hot shoe of the X2D2, I have set the Channel to 01, group to A, and both the AD200 and the X2TN flash when I press the flash button, yet when I press the X2D2 shutter button… no flash. Any help would be appreciated.

No TTL, Manual Flash only, no electronic shutter use only mechanical also make sure you are all in manual mode...that should work

X2D2 can be a little finicky with third party triggers. Make sure your trigger is fully seated in the hot shoe, Hasselblad’s shoe can be a bit shallow. Also double check that the camera’s flash mode is set to Manual or TTL and that Flash Firing isn’t disabled in the menu.

If both units flash when you test on the trigger but not when you shoot, it’s usually a communication issue between the trigger and camera, try cleaning the contacts and reseating the trigger. Some folks have had to update their Godox trigger firmware to get it to sync properly with the X2D bodies.
