Wow. Amazing foliaged landscape - fantastic color and composition
Thank you Jung! The photo opportunities in that location in September were literally all around me. It was wonderful!

Looks great Steve! I like them all but #1 and 4 are my favorites. How was the fishing? Looks like my kind of place!
Thanks Scott! The fishing was pretty good for September. Would have been better earlier but then we wouldn't have had the fall foliage. I'm really glad we went when we did!

Beautiful! #2 my favorite, but those horses really got a "Wow" out of me.. Were you camping or in a cabin? Where is the big fish picture??
Thanks Jim! We stayed in ranch cabins that were off-grid but very comfortable and well-equipped. The horses were pastured right out our front door and it was great fun to watch and photograph all the action. The cutthroat fishing was pretty good for September. We chose that location for our yearly western trip for good (not great) fishing, great scenery, comfortable accommodations and low angler pressure. At my stage of life, those are pretty much the attributes of choice for my fishing/photography. The Greys delivered on all of them. I even got some good moose images as a bonus!

Gorgeous work, Steve! Glad you had a great trip.
Thank you Ross! Your imagery from Utah is absolutely incredible! We had the same concerns about potential drought impacts on the fall foliage in SW Wyoming but found the aspens, cottonwoods and willows on the Greys in full color, which was half the reason I wanted to go there in September. I'm glad we did!

Another vote for #2, such a beautiful misty landscape, with a foreground surprise.

Thank you Brian! We only had one day with clouds and rain that week and I enjoyed shooting it.

That's awesome. I like them all but enjoyed the B&W and Horses the most.
Thanks Derrick! That scene really called for B&W. I thoroughly enjoyed watching and shooting all of the horse action.

Great pictures! I especially liked the one with the horses...

Thanks Jacob! The horses had the run of lots of pasture acreage adjacent to our ranch cabin and I really enjoyed shooting them.

The last featuring the horses is my favorite, Steve!
Douglas
Thank you Douglas! I enjoyed watching/shooting the horses as much as I did the fishing. I was glad I had packed my Sigma 500/5.6!
Exceptional shots Steve! The first is such a relaxing scene with shouts of vibrance to make one smile
#2 rocks me back and forth one layer at a time, really excellent comp in my eyes
#3 some nice tonal range, great choice of a B&W really works well.
#4 strength and beauty, powerful!

Thank you Karl! Photo opportunities were all around me. To the point that I often opted for photography over fishing. Steve

Doug
Thank you Doug! Yes, I enjoyed our meet-up too. I appreciate the detour you took to make that happen! Plus you recon'd the route out over the pass that we took back to Pinedale. Phenomenal scenery up there that deserves more focus (pun intended) next trip. Moosey as well! Saw seven on the way out and got a few photos. Winter well my friend! Steve
