Agreed on form factor, but it'll pair very nicely with a Z8, Z9, or Z6 III... but on a DJI RS4, the slightly lighter weight makes a difference (670g for Z6 III vs 540g for Zr).

I mean, if you’re using it for video it’s a no brainer to get the Zr. However I shoot about 1-2 videos a year on my mirrorless bodies.

Is your friend in the US? Amazon is saying the 21st delivered for my pre-order. Really was hoping to get mine by Friday. Going on a trip and really want to test it against a RED Rapture and a Canon R5 II.

I got mine today. Sadly, all the 4" screen protectors are delayed on Amazon. I bought some 4" screen protectors for Anbernic little device, I'll see how fitment is until the actual Zr protectors become available. I bought these: https://amzn.to/473Hhwn
Anybody receive their order from Amazon yet? I preordered from them last month but it says it's been delayed. Not sure if it is related to their server outage on Monday or if demand is really high. Maybe both?
Mine should arrive tomorrow, according to UPS. No luck finding a cage or grip however. Looks like they either haven’t been released yet, or are back-ordered due to high demand.

I don't expect a Z8II before end 2026 at the earliest. As far as the z7III goes, it's anybody's guess what it could end up being and whether there is going to be one at all. It something shows up, it will probably not just be a Z6III with an existing 45.7 or 60mp sensor, because we would have gotten that a long time ago if that were the case.
