p.1 #1 · Fujifilm X Raw Studio - Can't get it to work... Help Please

I think I have tried everything and I can't get away from the "waiting for the camera to connect" message. I am using a Window 10 computer and Fuji XT5

The USB setting on the camera is on USB RAW CONV.

I have restarted my computer, taken the battery out of the camera, have fuji RAW files saved to the computer hard drive

I have deleted the app from my computer and re-installed

I have bought new cables that have data transfer speeds of up tp 10Gbps

I have tried USB-C to USB-C cables and USB-C to USB-A cables

I have connected the camera to the computer, turn the camera on then launched the app

I have launched the app, connected the camera, turned the camera on

The computer recognizes the camera and makes the beeping noise when the camera is connected and turned on and off as it does when usb drives are connected and disconnected.

All this and still get the "waiting for the camera to connect" message
Not sure what else to do aside from giving up?

I am coming to Fuji-Film from a long time shooting Film and was excited to try some of the custom recipes that are available online. My eyesight is not the greatest and would like to have access to the custom profiles without having to rely on the camera lcd screen. Also would like to try different recipes on the same image.

Any ideas or suggestions?

i solved the problem via CMD w/ this commands

sc config winmgmt start= disabled
net stop winmgmt
cd %windir%system32wbem
for /f %s in ('dir /b *.dll') do regsvr32 /s %s
wmiprvse /regserver
sc config winmgmt start= auto
net start winmgmt
for /f %s in ('dir /b *.mof') do mofcomp %s
for /f %s in ('dir /b *.mfl') do mofcomp %s

Are you able to connect the camera and transfer images to the computer (after changing the USB setting)? That should eliminate any camera connectivity or cable issues.

Tried it is USB mode and the Fuji camera doesn't show as a drive in file explorer

Thanks for your advice here, looks like you are on to something, it is an AMD processor.

I tried the commands to no avail, I also tried updating the AMD drivers as well, unfortunately, no luck there either.

I don't know about Windows so can't help but we've at least eliminated X Raw Studio as being the problem

Have you tried running the application (X Raw Studio) in administrator mode?

If select the card reader mode in the camera, does the memory card installed in the camera appear in the explorer?

See response #4 above - the OP doesn’t seem to be able to connect at all
