Foliage is well saturated around Grandfather Mountain to Mt. Michell.(October 10-11)
including Grave Yard area.
But most low altitude area (as you see below - Lane Pinnacle Overlook, Milepost 372.1) is about to start.
Great Smoky Mountain State Park would be saturated well around October 17-19
Wester Blue Ridge from Ashville will be peak next week.(October 17-29)
Easter Blue Ridge from Ashville is already well saturated

Thank you very much. A you said it is so, a week ago.
This area is high altitude, so the foliage is over saturated.
Thanks to your many great images to learn.

After trip many times along the Blue Ridge Parkway, we found this:
Western Blue Ridge: lovely and smooth, and small scale mountains.
Eastern Blue Ridge from Ashville: tough and large scale mountains.

The first one really resonates with me Jung, nice! I like the layers and sense of depth. Definitely should go back in a few days during peak colors and I think that scene would really come alive especially during golden hour!
