Sometimes, you look at an image you took and think "ehh, not bad, so so" (or similar). Later, years later, you look again and a different thought or feeling comes over you, and you realize things you didn't before. This one, I see what she has gone through, what she has become, what we experienced on that day, and what experiences she has had and will have. So, I look at this one as a reminder of all the little things that I have done, and it can bring you some joy. Keep on keeping on, Kid.

A pensive young lady. I like how her clothing matches the mystique of the woods surrounding her.
Her expression is understated yet deep. I am not sure about the composition. Too much tree? Perhaps frame lower to show her hands as the arms are cut off in an awkward fashion? Or maybe a closer look at her lovely face? On the other hand, her face is in the center of the frame, and that should be where the eyes are drawn.
