Jonathan Alpeyrie is a pretty famous war photographer, he has been through a lot, but one observations I found interesting from this very recently published interview is that he seems to be relying on only 1 camera body (with a backup) and one 50mm lens. And if you look closely, it is a Canon R - not even a R5, R5II or R6 - and the older EF 50/1.2 L lens with an adapter. He also mentions that he shoots only in manual mode and takes very few shots (and dislikes editing).
Gear is perhaps the least important part of his life story and sharing, but I thought I'd point it out because for some reason it is always of interest to me.
