Obviously, this is a video first camera. However, I've not seen any specs for when a user flips the camera into stills mode. Will this camera be able to match the Z6iii's frame rate for stills? Will it have pixel shift? Subject tracking? Obviously there would be no back button focus option. Just curious how this would be able to function as a video first camera, but a backup for stills when needed.
The rolling shutter distortion in stills shooting is pretty bad, it should be OK to use for static or slowly moving subjects like portraits but not for fast action. Flash sync is 1/60s which is not ideal. The Z6III with its mechanical shutter is a better option.

Nikon spec linked below lists out what it has. Looks like it can do most of what Z6III offers for stills.

I never once noticed an issue with rolling shutter using the Z6iii and used it almost exclusively with electronic shutter. THat's the whole point of the partially stacked sensor.
