This is the result of pressing the shutter button and swinging the camera to my left in 1 motion. Doubt I could replicate this shot again. I am still in my "learning curve" of the Fuji system. This was a "freak" accident but found it amusing.
Dan
A pretty bizarre, (and cool) effect, but inquiring minds want to know ... what actually happened here?
Dan, was your swinging the camera to the left basically a "tracking" motion?
Can you, or anyone else, explain how that turned into the vertical "distortion" (I'm assuming the street and fence are actually flat)? Is this related to rolling shutter somehow?

I was trying a panning shot as the kids went by. I was moving along the fence line when the kids came by and I thought I would try a panning shot. My finger was on the shutter release....it was only when I downloaded the images that I found this.
