I have been using my own actions in Photoshop for a number of years. I was able to migrate the actions to the new computer I just built. I can use them individually but not in a batch processing situation. This is a screenshot of the message I get. I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

I have never had to do that and have tried that. I assume there may be a setting that points to the photos I have open in PS but I didn't think to look on the old computer which had now been changed.
The batch page recalls the last setting you had used it with, so on a new PC and PS install it's never been used. Click on "Choose" and navigate to the folder you want the action to run on. The path will appear below the word Choose. When you next run the action it will default to that folder (but you can change it if needed).
If you click on Folder instead of Choose you can pick Open Files

It did something a bit strange but it did perform. I'll see if I can fine tune it. Appreciate it.

I wanted to let y'all know that the left has an option "Open" which are the files loaded to process and that is what I had done before. None is the destination since they will be saved in their original location. Thanks for your responses. They helped figure it out.
