p.1 #1 · No Noise or vibration during A1 cleaning?

Hi All
So I'm used to the cleaning node on my R3 and R4 which shakes like crazy for a second.

Have just received an A1 and the cleaning mode is totally silent with no perceptible movement, is that normal?

Thanks

:-)

Yup, it uses a different cleaning method and it is more effective, at least, supposedly...

I found that the mechanical sensor shaker on the RIII and RIV did little to nothing, in my years of use. On the other hand, the ultrasonic shaker on the A1, A1 II and A7R5 seems to actually help with dust management, when regularly actuated. The operative word, here, is “help”.

You'll still need to blow out the particles that the cleaning routine shakes off the sensor and still leaves them in the chamber.

There is no sticky area surrounding it?
