In the White Mountains a few weeks ago with some unnaturally good and clear weather with fall just beginning to peak through in the trees. The first time I’ve been there when I was never in the clouds, even when on top of Washington.

These photos actually capture our 3 days doing the Presidential traverse. The first is coming up on Madison Springs Hut, then I got Lakes of the Clouds hut as we came off of Mount Washington. The third is after we descended back into the forest coming from Mitzpah Springs hut back down.
