Nice series, Morris.
My favorite is #2 -- that male Pronghorn is a handsome specimen. It's amazing how fast they are -- pretty much right up there with Cheetahs, only they can keep it up longer.
What's the relationship between the pronghorns and the prairie dogs that you seemed to be hinting at? I have a difficult time imagining the pronghorns even care about prairie dogs, and I don't see how prairie dogs could hurt pronghorns (except maybe for stepping in one of their holes). Am I missing something?

I like number 4 here Morris, as the pronghorn observes the prairie dogs.
Eric
Thank you Eric,
It did look like they were observing each other. Knowing the pronghorn went over the hill, I think it was deciding where to go.

Greg
Thank you Greg,
It is amazing how fast pronghorn are. What surprised me even more is how fast bison are. Nothing like a pronghorn yet there very fast and you don't want to get them angry as unlike a Mac Truck, they back up to finish the job when they are angry.

It was interesting to see the prairie dogs react to the large intruder even if they are not a natural food of the pronghorn. The prairie dogs went through there alert behaviors calling to others and some hiding. I suspect there concern is being stepped on and/or harm to the entrance tunnel.
Those Praire Dogs are a bit chubbier than I thought lol! The Pronghorn is a really beautiful animal and quite massive. Good look at the calf, already has some mass to it. Nice that you are having these experiences and opportunities to enjoy
