Is there a way to get links to the older firmware for the R5 camera bodies? I checked Canon's site and they only list the current firmware from July '25, which I don't want to install. I have not installed many of the latest firmware and I am not interested in the latest firmware that includes creating passwords to get into the camera.

Thanks...
I don't know where to get the old ones. If the password thing is your only objection, the first time you restart after doing the password set-up, there is a box to check to never have to do it again. I have done it on 4 bodies with zero issues.

FWIW, if you search specifically for "EOS R5 firmware 2.1.0" you will get a result for Canon Asia which still has the link up. But I would go with the latest and just opt out of the password.
It is the same firmware for R5 no matter where you download it from. 10D and 300D must have been the last camera models with English/Japanese firmware updates.

Cool to know about the opting out of the password prompt.
EBH, thanks for the link. Question. There is no issue using a firmware update from a different country, correct?
