Did a walk one eve at Hilochee nature center in FL, found some little gators and this wonderful little Anole, on the walk back out the spider and walking stick and hopper graced my trail.
I was pushing my limitations as these were all handheld shots.
C&C is appreciated
Thanks for the visits

Gonna start calling you Cool Hand Karl! (Maybe not, heh) But nice handheld work on the little critters just the same with that 200-600mm of yours, it really is the Jack of all trade's ain't it? The first anole, the stick bugs and the spider w/baby's and last lubber with great bokeh were my standouts. Nice finds!

When you don't carry any support and there isn't a useable prop you do the best you can handheld and take several shots, thankfully I was pretty steady that eve Yes that lens is what took me from Canon into the choice of mirrorless to Sony. But who knows what's next
Thanks much Eric, your comments and humor always appreciated
You have always had a great eye for things most of us walk right past. Your ability to capture and display them is on another level from most of us. My picks are # 1,3,7,8 &10.. Love that orange bow tie on #1.

Glad to hear that Birdie, I wasn't all sure what the deal was with the spider as I have never seen that before, seems like all the little creatures starting coming out of the grasses and passing in front of me on the path, I was lucky!
Karl
Hey Karl, I really love this set. I love these critters that you found here. I used to love this time of year in capturing these types of images, but they’re just not around here anymore… The farmers have killed them all off with glyphosate sadly.
