On September 11th, I walked around the World Trade Center area to photograph the Tribute in Light from various angles. During my walk, I was able to capture striking views of the Freedom Tower, the twin beams of light, and even one of my favorite restaurants in New York City all in one shot.
As I do also Marcelo! Black and white (B&W) photography emphasizes light, texture, and form to create a timeless, classic, and dramatic aesthetic, while color photography is best for conveying vibrant moods, energy, and realism by using a wide palette to communicate emotions and context.
Both do that BUT the b&w gives me the emotion of good versus evil. This day was evil personified!
