Well, now you've done it. You've made me envious. Gorgeous bike! Nicely photographed, too.

Thanks Brent, glad you like it.

Here's a slightly different version, for color reference. Just a couple "test shots", for now.

A sweet looking ride, Kent, but an unusual spoke pattern on that rear wheel!

No offense to your bike color, but the lack of color is a better image to me... but I'm just some guy.

Thanks Douglas.

Yeah, the spoke pattern caught my attention when I first saw it too. A deeper dive yields more support for weight distribution and power train forces in the rear, kinda thing. I dig on the physics, even if the aesthetic is an "unconventional" way to harness rigidity and compliance.

None taken ... +1 the mono certainly provides more tonal contrast, than the neighboring warm hues (background / foreground) do (for color contrast) in the color version.

What's holding the bikes up? I've looked closely at both shots and I can't tell.

Yup, CF.

But, Bianchi made this model, Infinito CV (countervail / cancel vibration) specifically as an "endurance" bike (meaning lot of time on the various road conditions), with an interwoven composite layer between Carbon Fiber layers to further reduce road vibrations.

As an old fart, who happens to also be a certified vibration analyst ... yeah, I dig on it.
I had a way too sweet of a (very unexpected) opportunity come my way, so I dipped into my camera funds for it.

Outfitted with Campognolo components, including ceramic bearings, etc. Yeah, it called to me on many levels.

Check out the video of the damping (scroll down).

"Ancient Chinese secret."

There's this thing called a stick (wooden dowel, actually) ... and some David Copperfield magic, to make it "disappear".

I had to Google / YouTube a bit to find the hint about a solution I was looking for. Good to hear it worked out well.
