It's all in the timing I suppose.....or is it Murphy and his stupid law?
In the last couple of months we have only had one day with any rain. We got 1/4 inch about three weeks ago.
One of my favorite car shows is usually held in the spring. It's put on my Cars & Coffee and held at Indianapolis Raceway Park. This year it had to be rescheduled three times due to rain. We had a VERY wet spring. Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend the show on it's final rescheduled date somewhere near the first of August.
Another one of my favorite shows (there's really only three) is/was being held today. It's called the "Back to the Fifties Festival" and held at a local county fairgrounds. It usually has a large number of participants and a wide selection of vehicles. The last time I attended this show was in 2023 but I was not able to spend much time there due to other commitments that day. That's the last car show I've been to since 2023. I was looking forward to "getting back in the groove" so to speak today.
But noooooooo

The folks that build these machines are truly blessed with a differ'nt way of thinkin'. There is so much to see on the outside as well as on the inside.
I have also heard rumors that ain't idn't a word, but I don't think it's true.

I saw the Model T a few weeks ago but I don't think I've seen a rat......
Unfortunately my "up and about" got rained out. There's always next year I suppose.
