p.1 #1 · iPad: Laminated vs Non-laminated screen when using Apple Pencil?
I have a base model iPad (A16). I like to use it with the Apple Pencil for taking notes and using Lightroom.
One thing that is kind of an annoyance is how "far" the tip of the pencil seems to be from the surface it's "writing" on - almost as if I'm trying to write on a piece of paper with a layer of glass above the paper (if that makes any sense at all).
Another minor annoyance is that the Pencil feels very "slippery," which, for me and my lack of fine motor skills, makes my handwriting worse than it already is, but I suppose that could be mitigated by adding one of those thin, sticker-like matte screen covers.
Do the laminated displays (found on the newer Pro/Air models, I think) offer a better Pencil experience than the base models in this regard?
