Tomorrow marks another year as we remember the tragic events of 9/11. I just wanted to share these pictures in honor of all those who lost their lives that day, and the families who continue to feel the lasting effects of the attack.

These are beautiful Marcelo, a fitting tribute to mark Sept.11. As a long time Manhattan/Greenwich Village resident, I lived closeby through the horror of this tragedy. My wife happened to be walking on the street when the first plane flew low over our neighborhood, not believing what she seeing. We've never been able to visit the World Trade Center Memorial as it's a reminder of those scary, horrible times we lived through.
Beautiful pictures and what a building in the last pix, seems like I remember you posting a pix of that.
Really liking #2 tho...Great shot.
Sad and scary times for sure, and yes, much evil out there.
But a lot of good as well, let's smell the roses, get out and enjoy life and be friendly to everyone.

Thank you Steve for your kind words and for sharing such a deeply personal memory. I was in the subway approaching Chandler Street when the plane hit the tower. I can only imagine how harrowing it must have been to be so close to the events of that day. Your wife's experience witnessing the plane fly overhead is chilling and unforgettable.
I completely understand how difficult it must be to even think about visiting the memorial. The trauma of that time leaves lasting marks, and everyone's way of coping is different.

Each of those is simply incredible! Love them all but I am especially fond of #2 and how the leaves frame the building.
Thank you Al for the kind comment, the second one is my favorite as well.
