The silhouette looks fat and not that long. I am guessing a 90 f/1.4, or something similar. It does look like a pretty big lens, however. Maybe the silhouette isn't really accurate. Who knows.
Without changing the optical formula I don’t see what they could really improve with this lens. It’s not going to get any smaller, and AF is already fine. Maybe if they changed it from a PZ to mechanical zoom, I’d upgrade.
It’s an underappreciated lens, and while it’s not Fuji’s sharpest, it’s not bad, and it’s tiny. It’ll be my one-lens XE5 kit. Still barely larger than my old X100.
That is pretty interesting to me. I really wanted to like the 15-45mm for its size and perfect range for a small zoom, but I found the optical performance just too weak and variable, with with the mid frame and corners often soft.
Fuji rumours suggests it will be an Xc 13-33mm. With stabilisation in most bodies they will likely drop the OIS. I would have preferred a metal mount, but if the optics are good, it could still be an interesting zoom alternative to Fuji's pancake primes.
Mine wasn’t too bad, but it lives stopped down. No reason to shoot the lens wide open.

Seems to me it is probably geared toward vloggers if that is the focal length range. It is good for the system to have such a lens (most of the FF systems do), but not something I am interested in.
Not sure about being an XC version, but that would be a perfect, small carry, vacation lens for me. Would be extremely excited if it works well for IR.

My copy of this is pretty good, but only when stopped down and used at the extreme wide end. A better constructed and improved 13-33mm would be welcomed and an interesting option.
