I visited Northern Tanzania for a 10-day safari over the summer. The wildlife viewing was great as expected.
I find that giraffes are one of the most visually interesting animals. Their physiology is characterized by so many interesting shapes and patterns that are highlighted in closeups, but they are also large enough to be meaningful elements of landscape vistas.
All photos were taken on a Canon R5 and mostly an RF 100-500 lens, with a few taken with the RF 24-105.
This is my first share on this forum. Thanks to everyone on FM who has shared about their safari experiences and gear. The last time I had a chance to photograph African wildlife, the first Digital Rebel was all the rage!
