My wife and I recently opened her new hair salon and after three months of hard work, she's fully booked! Anyway, I shot some images this morning and quickly regretted not bringing at least one strobe to help with the high contrast light in her shop. Did manage to get a few that I processed to her liking in terms of her color palette.
Thanks for having a look!

Well done on several fronts, Greg. Those are some fancy looking chairs, is that a massage table covered in the first? Good luck on her endeavor!

Thanks Douglas. That's a scalp treatment bed with a sink at the end with a halo sprayer. She has a scope she uses to identify scalp conditions to determine a treatment plan.
Everything is so sharp, crisp and clean Greg! I do see any "conflicts" shot "as is". The lines are obvious with the exception of the last one but fading into "white" on our left is no big deal. The "subject" carries thr frame.
Well done and it is a beautiful salon!

Does that scalp condition have a Rx for being 50% bald?
Without making my top a "garden"?
Dan
Dan. Actually, those with "less hair" can still benefit from scalp treatments, probably at a discount since there's less interference getting to the skin
The little details in these photos are fantastic. This solon looks very clean and inviting.
Photo 1 invites the viewer to lay down and relax
Photo 2 the reflection in the mirror is very symmetrical with the reflected wall splitting the circle in half
Photo 3 another good use of the reflection with the prominent salon name
Photo 5 I like this photo, but the cords down below on the right are a little distracting for me.
Overall, these look like solid marketing material. You and your wife should be proud of this establishment!

Thanks Dan. Appreciate the feedback and yeah, I debated adding the last shot, mostly due to the exposure, but after spending time moving stuff around to clear the view in the mirrors, I dropped the ball by missing the cords and I should have removed the tissue as well.
