I have a (first generation) A7c, and I'm not sure if this is normal, user error, or a glitch:
1. Powering on seems to be taking longer than it has in the past. It's gotten almost as slow as the old digital point and shoots from the early 2000's.
2. When I press the shutter release button, the image gets slightly dark before it snaps the picture. This is happening at every aperture and at every exposure mode.
3. The AF tracking seems to be having difficulty locking on to targets as well as it used to.
I'm not using it much now (my primary cameras are a Canon R6II and an R7), so I can't think of any reason why it's been behaving like this recently.
Try a different SD card or at least reformatting the one you're using. The camera interacts with storage at startup. If the card is corrupt or fragmented, the camera might be having trouble locating what it needs on the card.

Format on a computer. Had some issues with cards formatted on one camera and used on another

I've always thought the opposite was the proper way, format in camera to avoid glitches. I'll probably try inserting a brand new card to see if that helps.
