I went to an event in downtown Madison today, just spending about an hour looking for interesting shots. The event was Taste of Madison, where a couple hundred restaurateurs set up stands and sell samples of what they make at their kitchens. This was easily the funniest shot I came away with. I think the girls were working at one of the stands and were on break.

Love how you processed this brother! You got that "sheen" I love!!!!! The gleaming white slacks and solid blacks really makes this a wonderful insight into a "work break". The young lady at the rear is engrossed in some tasty morsel!

Certainly a sign of the stupid times
It kind of begs the question, where do we go from here?

Thanks very much, brother. It's mostly the camera and just a little bit me.

A good photograph should tell a story. This one writes a novel!

The times of gimmics and consuming too much.
Kinda interesting / ironic that in the realm of how much identity can be masked in social media ... the only girl whose name tag you can read, is the one NOT on her phone (i.e. living in the real world).
Love this photo and the story it tells....
We are headed towards idiocrasy, there was a movie made in 1996 titled Idiocrasy and it sadly predicts the direction we are headed as a society.

Thought I better straighten this out, Kent. Her food container is hiding her phone, which she is actually looking at.

Thank you! I agree about the direction we're headed.
