Some nice shots, in some the blurred background are distracting, otherwise would very nice photos, not say they're not. You can easily erase them in LR or PS.

Thank you Chris,
I chose to go for he news / sports look for these images showing things as they are as the story is in the action captured. I agree each individual photo would look better with clean backgrounds. My next post will exploit all the birds in the background. I'm curious what you think of the approach I take with them.

I think your approach is showing the story of the environment along with shot is great, but if you want to focus on the subject, I think you would want to minimize distractions, regardless your set is well done.
