The overall muted tones in the scene are accented perfectly by the stark green if the grass under the bridge. This really pulls the viewers attention to the center of image.

The composition is phenomenal. Great eye.

Yes.The day was sad and grey but colours of remaining leaves was very vivid.That made a contrast and drew my attention.
