For those that don't know, it is on Woodward Avenue (State highway 1) just north of Detroit. WDC is a massive celebration of automotive culture, It began in 1995 as a local fundraiser for a soccer field in Ferndale, Michigan. It has since grown into a globally recognized event, drawing over a million people and 40,000 classic cars each year. The cruise celebrates the history and nostalgia of Woodward Avenue, once a popular cruising spot for classic cars and hot rods.
