p.1 #1 · Underwater macro photography, Komodo National Park, Indonesia
I just came back from my dive trip. Had not done much macro photography in the last 10 years or so but it was a lot of fun.
All shot with Nikon Z8, 105/2.8s, Nauticam housing. Some where shot with Inon wet mount close up lens.
skeleton shrimp
decorating crab
Bobtailed squid
Squat lobster
Not sure what this one is called
one of those nudibranch thing.
Not really macro subject, but a mimic octopus floated by us while doing safety stop
at the end of our night dive. I saw mimic octopus many times in the past but always on sandy bottom.
Never saw one mid water before.

Here are a few more
I only did a few macro dives on this trip and have not really concentrated on them in years.
However, I talked to my dive buddies and hopefully next year, we plan to dive
in a couple of places that are well known for macro and just concentrate on
macro only. Last time I went to places like this just for macro dive is about 10 years ago.
