Hope people aren't getting tired of seeing Green Herons and Dragonflies, but when they pose for me I'm obliged to photograph them.
I was happy to get the 'two-fer' Dragonfly shot with both in decent focus.

I will never tire of eather Greg. Looks like you were close enough to that green heron to do just the eye and beak. Lovely portrait and the dragon photos are both good looking ones.

Ha looks like in #2 the dragon is bending back the blade of grass so the other doesn't ram it

That Green Heron was very intent on hunting and didn't seem to care how close I got. I actually did get a much tighter shot of his head/beak, but it was boring compared to the one I posted with has some context.
