Follow up to my previous color post. Even while on a hike I'm thinking and looking forward to playing in post, and for me that means B&W conversions using Silver FX.

Jim, lovely set but Mt. Robbie Ried in center would be my top pick. I like the layers in that and the mountain at the back end really gives it some depth. Good work.

When I went there, I did a all day Highland tour in a super jeep and it was one of the best experience. A whole different world...... have a fantastic trip
My planning paid off with the weather, then inadvertent camp choice resulted in those sunset shots north that are my favorites. I appreciate serendipity, try to go with the flow, and take advantage of it.
When you play with Silver FX, it will be interesting to see them and your "regular" conversion side-by-side. I'm personally not convinced Silver FX gives us anything we can't achieve on our own -- at least that was the case for me about 5 years back when I demoed it...

That's one of the better mountain viewpoints in Washington and nice that it isn't in a park (you cross into a wilderness area .5 miles up the trail) so no permits needed. It can get crowded on weekends, so also nice to be retired so I can go mid-week. Next time I hope to climb Tomihoy.
