An image of some of the sandstone cliffs that tower above Owl Creek Pass in the San Juans of Colorado. This was taken during peak color change in 2022 and the calendar says we aren't far from similar days like this.

John Wayne's 'True Grit' was filmed not far from this point.

Just beautiful Al! Funny you and I posted past American history in 2 posts. Like minds eh?

I was looking for an era type treatment but just decided to leave it as the look might have been without film/plate processing from then.

Yup, like minds! I don't do it all the time but sometimes providing historical context turns an image into something more interesting. Loved your Mason-Dixon monument!

I was a History major and I always was inquisative in knowing what the subject I was shooting, or just viewing, was "all about".
