Other than the flurry of info when they first released, I pretty much never hear about this lens. Did nobody buy it? Did you buy it and then decide it wasn't a keeper?
I have the 8-16, it’s already excellent and 8/9 is massively wide, wider than I need a dedicated prime for. I did however pick up the 7 Artisan 7.5 fisheye — limited use but fun.

So it looks like maybe you are the only one. How's it working out for you?
It has been fabulous. I've used it on several trips and it has really delivered the goods for scenery images. The sunstars are a nice bonus. Manual focus is workable, though I find the distance scale to be off. Infinity focus is at about 2m mark. And the lens is heavy.
But it is good enough that it has pretty much displaced the Fuji 14mm on my outings. I've had to force myself to use the Fuji 14 to remind me how good it is.

Price and manual focus plus the relatively large size I think. And it's definitely a specialized , limited use focal. And then if you already have a 10 in the 10-24 at similar size and weight albeit a stop slower, or the Fuji 8 at half the weight, you don't really need it. While twice the weight and price, the 8-16 is excellent and a lot more versatile, replacing at least 3-4 wide primes...
