Both the 135 and 20-200 are interesting to me for sure. Always nice to see new options. Only hope they actually come to be, and are reasonably sized with great IQ.
The 135GM is one of my favorite lenses. I often use it in low light and a 1.4 would make a real difference. It is about the limit for where I want to be on size and weight, so we will have to see where the sigma comes in. A TC on that would make it about perfect, of course I don't expect that to happen.
Hmm…in crop mode this would be a 200/2 equivalent. And I only need 26mp for people shots. It may be a very flexible lens for a lot less money than a 200/2.
Right now I love the results I get on portraits with the 70-200gmii at 200/2.8, so I’m interested to see how this lens performs.
Sony Alpha Rumors reporting that the lens has a 105mm front filter thread, removable tripod collar and a black finish. Sounds like a very similar design to the 105/1.4 and the new 200/2.

I love a good 135 for headshots, infants, and pets. I have the APO-Sonnar 135/2 for the purpose, but I've never felt limited by the speed. With headshots, for example, I'm always down to f/4. I don't think the extra stop (plus larger size) are going to do anything for me.

You’re right. A 105 really hits a sweet spot, offering nice compression while keeping the working distance practical. That said, I’m pretty excited to see what a modern 135mm f/1.4 can deliver. It’s bound to have a unique character, a true "mini" 200/2.
It looks reasonable for 1.4 I'd say.
Still, I think, I'd prefer a slimmed down 105/1.4 refresh for usability alone. And have 200/2 for even more oomph ...
I have the 105 f/1.4 and love that lens. It is hard for me to imagine ever giving it up but the 135 looks like a great lens for many people. I prefer the 105 for studio work compared to a 135 as my studio doesn't have quite enough room for the 135mm focal distance.
