Sunset Beach is a hotel located on Shelter Island. It’s named for the stunning sunsets that take place each evening right in front of the bar and restaurant.
I love this small island for the tranquility and peace I find here. No crowds, great restaurants, no lines, no traffic, and absolutely no stress!

Table for two on the upper deck please. Beautiful shots. My wife is from Miller Place, not too far from there.
Brent
Miller Place is a beautiful town with so many historical buildings, only 30 minutes from Shelter Island.

That looks to be right on the highway!

Not really, Douglas, it's a two way street, low traffic, at the edge of the beach.

Hope it stays like that there and doesn’t turn into how it is right across the water.
You’re right, Rich. Today I drove to Sag Harbor for lunch, but the line of cars to enter the town was huge. I turned around and went to Noyack instead.
