p.1 #1 · Why are some of my raw pictures are like this?

Does anyone know why some of my raw pictures turned out to be like this?

Image corruption.

This can be either a failing memory card (less likely) or a faulty memory card reader (far more likely).

Do the images look like that in camera, or only when you offload to your computer?
If the former, it's and SD card issue; if the latter, it's a memory card reader issue.

Only when I load them onto my computer. I have a T-Create Expert, and the SanDisk Extreme Pro does the same thing.

I had a similar problem once, and it turned out to be a problem with the computer's graphics card.

It can be the card, cardreader/cable or computer, but also a faulty camera. We had one body that required a replacement FPC board and was not economically repairable.
Testing the other slots or types of cards, card reader and computer can help troubleshoot.
