Beautiful image!! The tones are perfect and the slow shutter speed gives a nice sense of rapid flow. I also like the low camera angle which emphasizes the water.

Thanks Brent, I appreciate that feedback! I was originally trying to capture it from above and it didn't seem to be that impactful. Climbed down the sketchy embankment and got right up next to the water and that seemed to help!

I appreciate those kind words Dan! I tried a few different compositions and originally was thinking color image, but once I got it downloaded and started to play around with it, the more I thought black and white for this one! Always grateful for your feedback so thanks!

Scott, Color is often preferred for capturing vibrant scenes, conveying realism, and evoking strong emotions tied to specific colors. Black & white, on the other hand, can create a timeless, classic feel, emphasize form, texture, and light, and evoke mood through tonal contrasts. Just my $.02!
