p.1 #1 · Frog ID?

I would call these 'Pond Frogs', but that's probably not the correct name. I also assume they are very immature frogs.
I photographed these this morning while doing some Dragonfly shots. These are so tiny I almost missed them, and they were hard to get a good close up angle without falling into the pond with my camera. They were about the size of your little finger nail.

Thanks, John. Now that I know where they are, I'll be keeping an eye out for them.

Around here you will never look for them on lily pads because they would be killed by bullfrogs. I look for them in trees, bushes, or in a garden. They even go up downspouts and lurk in gutters.

Where we once lived, we had roll-down shutters on the outside of a window. Before rolling the shutter up, you had to inspect the back of it to make sure no tree frogs were hanging out there. If they were there when you rolled up the shutter, next day when you rolled it down there would be a dead compressed tree frog.

There is a reason they are called TREE frogs.

I use the Seek app by iNaturalist on my phone. It ID's your photo as a Masked Tree Frog.
