They look to be heirloom type Craig. They are indeed beautiful. Hate to destroy them by eating them.

Yes Dan, heirlooms, in the back anyway. Heirlooms are all different, in colors, flavor, texture, and such. But, all are good with some salt and pepper (smoked sale, even better).

I add a sliced of mozarella cheese, some proscuitto, maybe a fresh basil leaf, thick balsamic vinagrette...tasty hot weather meal.
Heirlooms seem to be sweeter and more flavorarble.
The "glassene look and taste" of store tomatoes just don't do it!
