p.1 #1 · Sony A7RIV with Carbon Wrap

I am thinking about selling my A7RIV, I bought it new and it has had a carbon fiber wrap on it since the beginning. It has slightly over 33k shutter count. I am wondering if it would be better to remove the wrap to sell or if it would be better to leave the wrap on it.

I am thinking about upgrading to an A7RV, seems like waiting for the A7RVI is probably still going to be a long wait.

Leave the wrap on... and leave it up to the new buyer.

As a buyer I would want it without the wrap. You never know what the condition is under there.

I would never buy anything with a wrap on it. Ever. Selling something wrapped doesn't make sense either. If you only have photos of the wrapped camera and the buyer receives it claiming it is damaged under the wrap, what recourse do you have? You have no proof of the actual condition of the camera under the wrap.

I wrap all my bodies and lenses. Clearly, I have found them easier to sell with the wrap removed.
