p.1 #1 · Super Resolution in Lightroom has gotten pretty good
Just an FYI for anyone not shooting a high megapixel body, the latest update to Lightroom, which has changed the way the Enhance module works, seems to have buffed the abilities of the Super Resolution feature. I've been playing with some Nikon Zf files, making X-Pan crops, and sometimes deep ones, with great results. I'm noticing way fewer AI artifacts with this version than the last time I tried it about 6 months ago.
If you haven't tried this feature in a while, you might want to look at it again. The results are way better than the version of Gigapixel I have. You can also take the sometimes pretty enormous result and shrink it down to 6000-7000x on the long end, and the result is fantastic.
